About Me
Welcome to my website, my name is Sergio and I'm a seasoned photographer with a distinctive eye for capturing the world around us. With over 15 years of experience in the field, I have developed a unique style that blends my passion for architecture, product, and artwork photography.
My work has been featured in publications such as Dezeen, Wallpaper, Purple, Pin Up, Vogue and GQ, and I have collaborated with high-profile clients like Kimpton Hotels and Grupo Habita. My style can be characterized by the pursuit of geometry, lines and shadows, it's an exemplification of my understanding of the subjects and the world around them.
Although I'm proficient with various lighting equipment, it is the medium format digital cameras that have truly revolutionized my style and workflow. I believe that these tools have enabled me to enhance and refine my artistic expression.
My journey into photography began in the countryside, where I first discovered my love for photography by capturing the intricate beauty of animals and insects. This initial spark ignited a lifelong curiosity for cameras, the technical aspects of photography, and the magic of lighting equipment – all of which continue to drive my creativity today.
When I'm not behind the lens, you can find me indulging in a diverse range of interests, such as reading about archetypes, mythology, psychology, science fiction, physics, and plant theory. I also finds solace in drawing, which transports me to a relaxed state.
